The studio is heated to 85 - 95 degrees.

 

This type of work-out is made to improve your glucose metabolism, burn more fat, increase your endurance and build strength.

This energetic class is paired up with up-beat music to keep you focused and highly motivated. Not to mention health and flexibility of the spine to train your muscles to work together; which will lead to good posture & strength throughout your body. All the wonderful core strengthening of Pilates and the invigorating benefits of a heated room. 

The class finished with yoga stretches. 

 Barre is a fast paced ballet inspired aerobic exercise. It incorporates every major muscle group using light weight high repetition format. 

 

This class emphasizes the importance of form and alignment when performing low-weight, high rep exercises to sculpt long, lean muscles. Using a ballet barre, we target every major muscle group in a fun, upbeat, positive environment.

This is an excellent class that is challenging for everyone from the novice athlete to the pro lifter.

You do not need any experience in ballet or in any group exercise class.

All you need is a Yoga Mat a positive attitude!

 

Prepare for your Hot Yoga Class:
Wear lightweight, breathable fabrics that can wick away your sweat.


Suggested: Either a HOT YOGA MAT OR a HOT YOGA TOWEL to place over your yoga mat, which may get a little slippery once you start sweating.

Consider bringing a small towel for your face and hands. And or wear a headband and or wrist bands to capture the sweat.

Bring a large, insulated water bottle filled with cold water that you can sip throughout your hot yoga session.

Free filtered water when you bring your own bottle or we sell bottled water for $3 cash or Venmo only.

1. It is detoxifying due to the amount of sweat you are able to produce. (given that what you are sweating out is water-soluble, not all toxins are water-soluble)

2. Increase your Flexibility
You will get an even deeper stretch in a heated studio because we use the atmosphere to warm the body, not exercises that contract your muscles creating the opposite effect.

3. Improved Lung Capacity
Like other types of yoga that focus on breathing exercises, hot yoga advances lung capacity through breathing pranayama(s).

4. Better Circulation
You can almost feel it while you're doing it. Hot yoga is excellent for your circulation It is a great cardiovascular workout.

5. Strengthen Immune System
This effect has been known for a long time. Exercising in a hot environment improves your immune system and elevates the body's regenerative capacity.

6. Beneficial for Lymphatic System
Like most types of yoga, hot yoga is very good for your lymphatic system.

7. More Flexible Muscles
You will notice that you are able to bend further and stretch better when you do hot yoga. This causes the muscles to get used to being "used."

Hot yoga supports weight loss even more than regular yoga because you are sweating a LOT.
