The class will include elements of what we learned on Saturday, but all levels are welcome to drop in.

You can drop into either day drop in $50.


Inversion can be empowering postures that teach us not only about our inner strength, but about our innate playfulness, courage, and our ability to create lightness in space.
Fear of the unknown can be a big obstacle that stands in the way of trying these invigorating and beneficial inversion poses. This workshop will slowly and precisely guide you through preparatory poses of classical inversions and teach you how to develop the strength and confidence to attempt more challenging poses.
In this workshop, we will also explore multiple variations of classic inversions such as headstand, forearm balance, pincha myurasana, and handstand. Exploring transitions to challenge your balance and preconceived notions of your own limitations. This class will be lighthearted and structured to allow you to playfully push the boundaries of your practice.
You’ll learn techniques to use mindfulness and ease as you turn your world upside-down!

All levels welcome that already have a practice and understanding of yoga asana for at least 3 months.

All forms of the asana practice are variations of moving meditation. Using elements of vinyasa flow, paired with arm balances and inversions, we link our breath with movement giving ourselves acute focus on the present moment and freeing ourselves from distractions of the past and future. Join Kristen in this fun but challenging flow class where you will use your breath, mind and body to flow through surya namaskars, strong standing postures, arm balances and inversions, (learned in the workshop 3.25.17). Yogis should expect to sweat, work hard, learn a few things and more importantly, feel good while enjoying their practice. All levels welcome!
